This collection aims to capture the feelings of loneliness and melancholy by portraying empty street scenes in Macau at midnight. The concept originated from a night walk after a chaotic day. The artist realised the importance of addressing suppressed emotions and finding solace in mindful walks. 

The paintings in different shades of blue depict the atmosphere of sorrow while also representing peace of mind and offering a sense of tranquillity. The streetlamp in each painting creates a contrast with the surroundings, illuminating the architectural facade. A glimmer of light in the darkness symbolises hope and warmth and washes away negative thoughts.
